How will this project help the community?
We arrange ticketed events - participants can have a nice experience plus they will have a gome.
A good story, gives more meaning to the purchase.
We can all put some of our own money in it.
We can borrow money from an investor or a bank. We could organise a long payback time.
We’ll put our game on Kickstarter.
We could host game event and collect money from other game businesses or groups to attend.
We can approach local businesses and sell the game thorugh a pop-up shop locally, where people know us and they will be interested to buy from us.
What is the business idea?
Our business is serving the community by creating social connections, to have fun with others and making friends without limits age, ability, borders or language. Making games allows us to go to places, meet new people, get to know each other and start cooperative projects.
What personal goals led the group here?
Our group brings strong, practical skills to this business. We have knowledge of animals and research, experience in producing and publishing printed materials, and solid pedagogical know-how.
We speak German, English, Finnish, some Spanish and Swedish, and are confident in interviewing, presenting, marketing, accounting, and digital technology. We are organised, detail-oriented, adaptable, creative, and highly motivated.
We already have computers, telephones, and cars. We live in rural Clare, Ireland and in Helsinki, Finland, close to airports, giving us both countryside and urban perspectives and strong online working capacity.
We can commit several hours daily, with flexibility for travel. Our families, designers, photographers, business owners, legal contacts, and government connections will support us. Under the Abundance umbrella, we can grow even further.
How will this business make a profit?
We will develop and market a card game that can be extended with further products and services. We will build a concept for the game, research the content and design the cards. We will need to test the games and finalise our product. We need to identify a good partner to print the cards. Finally we have to bring our game to the market and create interest in our product.
What do we have to make this business successful?
I: I would like to be myself and see equality in the world.
O: I would like to have my own motorcycle and take my wife to work.
N: I want to study animals, share facts and give speeches on internet and TV.
M: Cooperative entrepreneurship interests me
C: I want to live new experiences, learn skills, contribute socially, and meet new people.
