As most of you reading this know, Fionnathan Productions is an innovative, son-and-father led, community driven project exploring how far we can go toward creating for and with Fionn a ‘great life’ (as he defines it). And now, another year of remarkable accomplishments for this young man (and a few big failures, as usual) is complete. This year saw our 10th anniversary. A great year, a dismal year, in so many moments (mostly great, by our calculation). Fionn turned 29. He will be half Jonathan’s age in 2027. (Do the math, if you must.) We divided this report into the following categories. Education & Research, Advocacy & People, The Arts & Travel, Abundance & What’s Ahead. We hope you enjoy reading it, and feel free to give us feedback about any of it.
2025 was another big year for travel. We visited 10 countries (Austria, Slovakia, N Ireland, Norway, Finland, England, Tunisia, USA, Canada and Germany), on 13 trips, over a total of 58 days.
We always make time for nature. This year we cruised Lysefjord; lake kayaked Madison; and did birdwatching in Michigan, Wisconsin, Inis Mor, Rathlin Island, and Tunisia. We visited one zoo, one aquarium and one bird sanctuary.
Cultural Highlights of the year included many concerts, including TradFest, Milwaukee Irish, Fionn Regan, Nine Inch Nails, Modest Mouse, and Damien Dempsey. We heard Vivaldi's Four Seasons in its traditional form at the Vienna Opera House and in a post modern reimagined form in a big tent in Galway.

Two plays we attended stand out from the year. We saw the Merry Wives of Windsor at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, along with Tommy Jessop and his mum Jane. Tommy himself once appeared on the Globe stage doing Hamlet.
And here in Galway, we saw Finding Sophie, by Blue Teapot. This is the sequel to their international hit, Sanctuary.
Of course we visited multiple museums and world heritage sites, including the ancient city of Carthage. We attended lectures, a silent film festival, a live comedy showcase, and we spent Halloween at the original Castle Frankenstein in Germany.
To offset our travel pollution, we continued to coordinate a project with our neighbours and Galway supermarkets to share surplus groceries (through FoodCloud), diverting approx 5 tonnes of food from waste.
We're raising money to spread love all around the world through our work. Help us continue on this journey.
